For £50, you can't really go wrong. It'll always serve as a backup, if you end up upgrading.

Run it & see how it fares. If it's running fine, leave it be, for the time being. An oil change would be no bad thing though, & drain the water from the tank. There'll likely be some in there.

Thank you. What normally comes in a service kit for a compressor?

I tighten this as slight air leak and the internal thread popped. Can both this parts be bought ffs?

For a non-operational part, strange how the threads have gone? The rubber seal squeezed out slightly on full build up and didn't even get a few mm turn, now it doesn't even sit in the hole.

Thanks mate, I think the best thing is to go to a pneumatic local, I can take it with me then. Is there any special thread paste/lock I should use, cautious dealing with compressed air etc.

Wouldn't white tape be fine? Why would you need yellow (for fuel gas)?
