An update on our Chinese heater.
Definitely only 4kw NOT 8kw as stated.
But runs very well - been in use 10 hrs a day 5 days a week at the slightest hint of cold weather.
Running it on Kerosene.

I have a heated seat (just a cover hard wired in) and heated wing mirrors,
Is there one of the heater wires I could use to trigger a relay and start those too when I turn the heater on using the remote.
Just remember the heater glow plug draws about 12 to 14 amps until it has warmed up.Just a thought,

you could extend the fan connection. there should be a enough surplus to power a relay even though it has an "overcurrent" sensor, i believe.
or you could use a thermocouple in the output vent (or around the exhaust) - it wouldnt get warm for 5 minutes or so, though.
