No drawings needed but I will more than help assist if needed. Simple things to build and tbh the most difficult part was taking on the "home made" for everything way. I could of bought an expansion tank, radiator, pulsation dampener, I even made the junction box the for the connection. If you buy it all and chuck it in a electrical enclosure it will be just as good. I've done a few that way now but this was to be a project. I only had 2 goals. Compact and home madeYeah I think the next task is for Richard to get some drawings done so we can all build one.

It's a small work shop. Garages have vehicles or crap in them. Every thing in there I need with plenty of room to breathe.

Disconnected the cooler from my tig welder and hooked the torch to the new one this afternoon. 190 amps blowing holes on 4mm Alu plate was a good enough test to say the least. It's been hammered for over an hour at those currents and the water going back into the tank is stone cold. Typically I found a small drip on a connection in the most awkward place it could be so had to put that right. I'm waiting on some stainless button cap heads to arrive as they will look smart with nylon washers for the cover. She's gonna get one more coat of laquer to reduce the risk of the paint chipping when the new owner throws his big spanners on top of it and mugs of tea etc. The pressure delivered from that pump is a nice amount that it would be happy feeding a torch twice the length. (8mtr no problem).

She's been set on a heavy duty sponge pad. This way if it's to be sat on the bench for any reason vibration won't be transferred through it. Also it's a great for insulation

It's totally complete now thanks to Jim with his speedy response on the last part. I've by passed the home made damper and bought the real deal. It worked fine with the home made one but pressure was taking over the air trap on long period runs sending heavy vibration through the torch. With jims help I've got the correct part which has much improved it further.

What were the particular reasons for the parts layout such as the open space in the side? Just wondering how it evolved as some of my projects grow from the materials available. For instance the cage I made recently for hoisting storage boxes in & out of the loft is built around a heavy length of U channel as that is all I had to hand as my stock of 50mm box has been used.
