I realise that........just can't remember the film....I think it was to do with Churchill wanting to know the real situation in Russia after the revolution.I mean George Orwell’s real name was Eric Blair. No relation to Tony as far as I know.
The person in the film went as journalist and gave the chaperone the slip to see the real situation, which turned out to be mass famine,
One poignant scene was where he was rescued by some children after being shot by soldiers, being now classed as spy. After eating some stew he asked how they got meat. They replied that was off their brother, At first he thought the brother was a hunter, until he eventually found it was literally off their brother.
