No it is the push pull system mate iirc.Do they not use push/pull?

The feed unit is doing the pushing the mini drive the pulling. Then you stick a mig gun on it. Same as kemppi super snake.
They mainly use conventional 3metre MB501 mig torches but they do use push-pull guns as well.
If you look closely at the mini-drive there is s 19 pole socket on the front do you can use a push-pull gun on that too. It really is a little gem of a feeder.

It might be but I haven’t seen many super snakes in use without a few silver tape repairs in that orange sheath. It might not grip to corners and edges but it does seem to tear.the sheath on the Kemppi snake is more like what they are after
Just to clear it up, it’s not more than two feeders. It’s a Phoenix power source, with a 15 metre interconnection cable to the standard Drive 4X feeder, then from there it’s the 15 metre (which is the max they recommend for alu wire) from the feeder to the mini-drive. From there forward you can either fit a standard torch or a push-pull if you really need some extra distance.
What would the right price be I know of a pelican 1600 that'll be going for sale soonMy main problem was the EWM is 50+Kg with wire and an awkward shape. Add to that I didn't like lifting it onto boats as it could get bashed and scored and the boatyard workers think nothing of splashing it with paint etc.
The feeder in the PeliCase will be robust and I will not be caring about scoring/scraping/painting etc.
I would have preferred a smaller case, same length but 2/3 the height and a bit less on depth but it is what it is for the moment. If a smaller one comes along at the right price I may swap out.
Not too sure, waiting on someone getting back to me about a feeder which may work but ..... Well I have just had to buy another car so funds are low so not sure which route I will go yet. What would the right price be I know of a pelican 1600 that'll be going for sale soon
