Fire extinguishes

one guy i do a bit of work for took the fire extuingisher thing to extreem and bought an old but fully functioning fire engine at auction, occasionaly we drag it out and dick about with it to make sure it all still works, fill it back up put in back in the shed and connect the charger back up.

very very usefull to have when bailer or combine goes up but the profesionals look at you funnny when they turn up

Quite possibly. I always go to Falck Nuteck in Teeside and they usually set Fire to some big stuff

As part of our MSA Race & Rally Marshal training we do extinguisher training at least every 2 years. They have a training gear consisting of a tray of water with propane bubbling through it which is lit. This is to simulate a fuel fire, the worst kind in a car accident. There is also a setup with a vertical wall of propane jets - this is hard to get out!

i was there recently for my refresher, it has been tamed considerably. Also the wave pool bit doesnt have many waves these days. Did my fire team leader refresher at Teeside recently, not what they used be 20 years ago when I became a team leader.

Though they did put me in the right place for the twice I have done it for real!
