@MattH , any ideas for a "pretty", 2mm thick, M16 stainless washer to go over these studs and behind the M16 st/st dome nuts I have. Plain old flat round washers seem boring!

I'm not so sure on the proportions of these faux hinges. Thinking it might look a bit spindly for something supposed to support a gate this big. I've scaled the DXF up to nom. 540mm long. The existing stainless steel coach bolts will go through the hinge, (I'll have square holes cut in the hinge). The coach bolt heads are nom. 23mm dia. The hinge isn't much wider than that! Thinking it wants to be like at least 2" wide...

They definitely need to be a lot wider than the bolt heads.

This is some odd version I had saved, can't seem to find your current one.

If you want to send me your latest DXF I could stretch it a bit.

Not sure what you would do about the right-hand arrowheads though, you will need to massively change the profile to get the bolt heads in there.

Cheers. Looking at 5, possibly 7 bolts per hinge. 5 will be "real", the other two just cut of heads welded on the back. Not sure if I can go bigger than 175mm tall yet...

A very careful application of silicone eater might tidy the bricks up a bit. Should have masked up first I guess!

I'll admit to resorting to a surgical glove dipped in a water / washing up liquid mix to finish things off!

A smidge of aluminium anti seize on the M4 screws:



A horse shoe of silicone grease:



Nut 'em up:



A good hard rub round the rim with a moist toilet tissue to get rid of the excess lube...and roughly what it'll look like finished.



Just need the Celtic cross washers to go under the stainless dome nuts!
