nope, wheel is now pretty good in the arch. Would have liked less of a gap but it currently is what it is.

prop is adjustable by probably 50mm so we’re all good in that sense.
take a look at the upper arm on the subframe...

I know this seems like pictures of the same things over and over again but there’s progress here...
that’s spring top mounts in so it sits on its own weight, subframe 50mm higher than I had it previously with no clearance issues.
just need some shock top mounts and some restregnthening of the chassis rails and then it’s just sheet metal to cover the bits I’ve cut out. Move onto fuel tank then

lol the daily isn’t much better at 17mpg anyway so I’m not worried about fuel lol.
good thing about the Stang tank is they’re available in 16 gallons like the one in the picture or a slightly taller one at 20 gallons. So easy upgrade if I wanted more fuel
That was exactly my thinking with buying something with a 5.7l V8 in - its pretty much the same consumption as the 3.2V6 in my Alfa, or the turbo charged 2.0l in my Lancia. And amusingly, as there's no european emissions data, the road tax is close to half as much as the Alfa!
The fact you can't deploy all the horsepower all the time on UK roads makes it use less too
just declare everything. You’ll either be denied, offered a ridiculous premium or if you’re clever find modified car insurers who can underwrite the risk involved.
realistically it’s no higher risk than my clk with 400bhp and a 5.5l V8. They don’t care about the car they care about me
