Free CAD software for 3D printing

That's frustrating; my printer has always seemed quite consistent for this sort of thing.

Would it help to fillet the outside corners of each part? Something like this:

You could probably test it by attacking the printed ones with a file.

I have been steadily printing a number of these parts. I am a little confused as I thought all the corners were the same but the ones I have printed are not.

The good news is they are actually fitting together but I am wondering if the various corners are to provide me with several options or am I missing the point. Lol

Some corners have one female others have two.

I expected to be able to have only 2 STL s one straight and one corner with let's say a male on one side all the way round.
It's not a problem . I just wondered if there was a reason for the double females etc..

Ah, I see what you mean. No, no good reason, just that it was easier to model that way. I did one dovetail on the long edge and one on the short edge. The rest of the ones on the long edge were done with a "pattern" (i.e. copy this and make more of them along a line at equal spacing). Then everything else (the other one on the short edge and all the ones on the other long edge and other short edge) were done by mirroring.

So purely down to laziness
