I guess the modified Moulinex frying pan is the vacuum chamber, or is it not?
Btw, could you do me a favour and, as a man of science, stick to Bar and forget about the PSI stuff? I mean that Inch, pound, bla bla bla system is way to complicated for my metricly shaped brain.

The frying pan is for heating the content of the pressure cooker pan, that was the actual vacuum chamber.....
Thats one interesting contraption JW, your compressor might find it easier to start if you had your electrics upright. on some of those starting relays it says top on them !
