Do you think you'll get pulled for having the rear number plate obscured/covered?

The numberplate will fit under the step, im not sure will it look odd there though.
Have it quite regularly on small trailers where when they are empty the bouncing / vibrations wiggles the pin up. Very much to do with the frequency of vibrations and everything else, once the trailers are loaded not normally an issue. We tend to use lynch pins to keep them shut.thats interesting. at the moment this knuckle is acting as a stop, and i have it filed such thats its a perfect fit. I'll see how it goes, its going to need testing.
Lock for the spare wheel to stop it getting stolenOh I would yes get pulled, totally. There are still a few jobs left to do
• locking mechanism
• checker plate step
• pin to secure lower part of spindle
• number plate
• paint
I did have some beers last night to celebrate getting it pinned onto the car, so I'll take it handy today lol, nice and soft.
It's inside under the boot floorEach to his own I guess. If I remember correctly the P38 spare wheel was mounted from underneath, you you don't have to empty luggage to get at it. Or am I misremembering? Our first Range Rover had the spare standing upright at the side of the luggage area, so you might have to move luggage a little. Neatest solution I've seen was the Lada Niva where the spare was under the bonnet.
