I’ve seen quite a few Cat C write off that should have been break only imo ....
Conversely I’ve seen a few cat A cars in salvage yards that looks an easy fix , to be told it’s break only .
How they rate salvage I’ve no idea
My Transalp was/is a Cat C, but the only way I know is because the guy I bought it off told me. There’s nothing on the V5, insurance people never mentioned it when I got it covered etc. Is it actually of any relevance anywhere?
