I would guess so. Buying off the net by ticking boxes isn't always the best option. Id sooner pay more if buying new and build a relationship with my local dealer.I guess then those who buy from sellers on the net who might be 300-400 miles away, need to get machines back to sellers for service, or compromise warranty terms?
Defo always worth asking the question and getting things crystal before parting with the cash. Although things might not be hidden they are sometimes not always easy to see. God knows what the Rehm warranty is. As mine is 4 years old I'm footing the bill if it goes pop.Buyer beware. As they say, certainly someone looking for a set, will consider warranty a massive part of the dicision on which brand/colour/sticker they buy.
5yrs must be one of the longest offered and a big pull.
If there is a requirement to have the unit serviced every year to validate the 5yrs. Then It really should have been pointed out to the customer at the time of purchase. As ultimately they may only find out, breakdown and failure to have the unit serviced.
So relinquishing the dealer and manufacturer of the repair at thier cost.
I'd be less than happy.
(I've just looked up Kemppi and they state one shift per 24hr = 2yr. 2xshift per 24r results in only 1year warranty.)
That's not a bargain IMO. They could be had brand new for £2500.Saw a dynasty 200 go for 1500 quid the other week, so as you say, bargains are out there, just trawl eBay and something will come up.
Who's selling dynastys new for 2500?That's not a bargain IMO. They could be had brand new for £2500.
I paid £900 for the Rehm used and I attached a cooler, pedal, and Ck for another 600. Same price as the dynasty you mention but the torch and pedal were brand new for mine.

As a matter of interest how many posters on this thread have needed to make a warranty claim of any kind? If annual service is a condition of said warranty, does the service need to be carried out by the supplying dealer, or an agent of the equipment manufacturer?
How are they better.Just.for a machine with no leads.either way, when one comes up at 1500 they dont last long.they are bigger and heavier than a rehm, but a better all rounder
I saw that. What a deal for a powerful top top end package. Must be 6k new. There was a 3phase Magicwave complete with cooler on about a month ago, looked almost new. Sold for £1800 I think, but relisted due to timewaster and second time round made over £2k. Looked a very nice machine, and I would guess probably very low hours (which can be checked).
Opinions are not supposed to be based on literature and pictures. I don't for a minute believe you have welded with a Rehm tiger 210 acdc.In my opinion of course.could debate it all night without proving much
Personally I wouldn't buy any of them (jasic, Rtech, TA, parweld etc etc).
It's like water coolers. You need to read the warranty terms very carefully as it's easy to miss the point that the warranty immediately becomes void the moment you fill it with car antifreeze.
