I'm sure they wouldn't be mega expensive, Could you adapt the ones you already have if your feeling tight?

I am sure I can come up with something bit of angle or something on the wheel bolts

they sure do, Oh I lied I purchased some stainless re bar to make a new grill when I get round to it, The one in there now was a cut down set of oven shelves from freecycle last week

Looking good! I did something very similar with a 47kg, the only snag I hit was the hinges. After some use the heat would cause them to seize. I'll be replacing mine with something a bit more heavy duty.

@lazybones51 what hinges did u use? cant u grease them up sometimes they rust from lack of use. bar and tube is a good alternative! I like my horse shoe idea can just replace the bolts!

They were just cheap wend on hinges, they're OK when cold but seize as they expand with the heat. Will replace them with something looser.

How hot does it get in the smoking area? I guess you light the fire in the blue cylinder and the heat/smoke flows under and then up over the top?

I have only done a initial burn in it to remove the paint depending on how much wood and how the dampers are set you can get it from 100 deg C up to 200 deg C I did the salmon at 170C which is a bit hot for bigger joints really
