Superb looking horse Pondman,Very realistic jumping action,What ever finish you decide one it wants to be the best, That sculpture deserves to live a long happy life,
So today I took him out for a ride and it was interesting, he's got some fire
Yea, I decided to put a pole there to stabilise it. I don't want gravity becoming friendly with it in 20 years. This way I know it will stand for a looooong time. Maybe the next one will be made slightly differently as to hold the weight but the customers weren't keen on the idea of a jump.Mr Pondman.
Fantastic photo.
Is that a supporting pole underneath trigger?
Lol you crazy man I've been stewing on this issue and I'm really struggling to see a way out. I really wish it could be incorporated into a Jump or a hedge so it can't be seen. I'll figure it out but I think it will be staying.Ignore the bulk of that, too much beer.
More sensible option? have a bush planted under him with a spar concealed in it?
Big horsey 'privates'.
It does make me snigger when I see posh ladies on horseback when Dobbin has his bits on display.

Made an ass of myself with this wildlife selfie
Oh ok, yes that's what I was thinking. Not that sort of bush.
A small garden bush thingy, the horse could be leeping over it and it would hide the strut nicely.
Rose bush? privet bush, bushy bush thang.
