Thank you @MattF for posting at least 4 Chinese named phone. I wonder if their tablets also go by these names.
I got a Samsung Tablet a few years ago,but not ages, £300, and as Samsung have ceased providing updates of Android. So now I have a £300 piece of junk. One by one, the Apps stop working due to not having the right level Android.
Maybe not such a PITA if it was a Chinese brand that cost say a 3rd of the price.
@mart: Branding is same for their tablets too. Those companies I mentioned have been around a good few year.
Oukitel tablets, I got one of their RT3's last year, I think it was. Not impressed with the performance on that. It's sluggish. That's been relegated to the workshop for use in there, now.

When I got the kids tablets the general consensus was that the Amazon fire tablets were the best bang for your buck. Certainly if you didn't want to spend hundreds on an ipad. There's plenty of online guides on how to do some sort of reset thing that puts standard android on it or at least let's you use the standard app store. Few years ago now so can't quite remember but still going strong!
