I went there when I was at Brunel tech. college years ago. They had an "exploded" Bristol Centaurus engine on display. Brilliant.forgot -1of the best; Bristol museum 1 of the wharf buildings,dont know the name ,just along from ss great britain,by all those stothert & pitt cranes.

A couple of good ones near where we live now are the windmill at Wilton, and just over the hill on the Kennet and Avon canal, the steam pumping station. Both working museums (on certain days in season) and well worth a visit.
