Depends, if your printer has marlin firmware you can set and store z offset, e steps, acceleration and jerk strings on the eeprom. Usually the slicer software can then make changes to that, so if you need to use a different z offset for different materials. Check that you used the correct profile in the slicer for the filament you used don’t try to print petg with the profile for pla as that won’t work well
The 32 bit motherboard in the Ender 3 V2 can't be then? It writes an EEPROM.DAT file to the card and base settings are lost when the card is formatted. Using the ”Storage configuration” option seems not to make any difference unless it's me being a Lark again.
However, close up they're not perfect. I don't know what layer height he used but to my mind the layers are a bit open in places and the inside a bit rough / "hairy". Any suggestions?
Temperature a bit low I would say. I print PLA at 210 and 65. Send me the file and I will see how it prints here, if you like?
Certainly wouldIf you would be so kind, that would be great.
Send me the STL mate. I will run it through the ender 3 with Cheps settings.I commissioned No.1 son to draw and print some replacement small part draws. I've had so many of these cabinets, not bolted to the wall, fall over, spilling the contents and smashing draws I figured try this. In grey PLA.

My decision to drop the draw handle down low, means a bigger label and easier print.

Have you sent it yet mate? Just can't see it that's all .Will do thanks. Be interesting to see how yours and @ajlelectronics ones come out.
Nor me. I even have some transparent filament to try on it!Have you sent it yet mate? Just can't see it that's all .

I even have somewhere in mind to store the test piece actually...I know he is often busy but I know his emails get through to me so thought I would check. While I think about it.
File sent to @ukracer and @ajlelectronics . My lad printed the one above at 200 and 50 degC temps. Cheers for trying.
@ajlelectronics what material is the transparent stuff you have, if not PLA will it be a "fair" comparison?

With the printers you have can you not change the temperature’s manually during the print process?
I have transparent PLA in the printer. The display is telling me that it is nearly a ten hour print, surely not?
Edit: Slicer says 3 hours 37 minutes.
I note that it uses 1.5mm wall thickness. I may be wrong in this, but I think that the best quality comes from a multiple of the nozzle size, so 1.6 would maybe be better.
First time I have come across a .step file, I had to look it up to see what to do with it. Then I needed to unlock it, so another Internet trawl.
