Yeah, very rare on defenders. I know of about 4 puma's painted in it. Not one TD5 though

Annoyingly I've had to replace the transfer box, I decided in the process to replace the gearbox too with full recon ones. The gearbox is having a v8 fifth gear in it too. 
another load of money I could've done without spending but that's that. Next to pay for the lights all round and the bumper. Another thousand haha. Then the glass all round.

What's your 'hoped for' completion date, Kim? Or is it a case of when circumstances allow?

Gearbox is £1100 delivered. Wasn't a bad price. I did get some prices from other gearbox builders. One was £2100 for the same thing but he put loads of hd stuff in it. I decided if I was to use it off road I'd spend that, I'm not though. Mines lasted all this time so will probably last longer still

Hi, Hopefully they won't get to find out, unless some one grasses it up. Otherwise with the light fingered brigade about she could end up losing it. It's bad enough being on here, interesting though it is, without it being plastered all over the mags with a bigger circulation. I know that's a sad reflection but it's the times we live in.

Yes , had my garage door open yesterday , a chap with a strong Irish accent strolled up and asked if I wanted to buy a Generator all the time eyeballing the landy, took his van no and informed local police, they told me that there were travellers in the area, so keep it safe and out of sight

Yeah it's nearing completion but I think I'll keep it under wraps. The only recent pics I have it's still a little way off. But I know it's not far!
