About 40mins from Chelsea! I love Chelsea and Kensington thoughDo you live in Chelsea though?
Ugh, give me grimy Tottenham any day.About 40mins from Chelsea! I love Chelsea and Kensington though
My best friends sister lives along there. She's out the country half the year so we got to stay in her flat for a long weekend, had a blast! Love the food market just up the road. It's amazing!I lived on the King's Road Chelsea during the 'swinging 60's ' but not much of the free love, sex and rock 'n roll came my way
It's Havana grey, it's like a pearlescent grey. It really depends on lighting to what colour it looks like.Loving the paint job ... what's the colour like in the flesh it looks very gold/graphite in the photos (well to me )
Chelsea tractor ... Kensington tractor ... or who cares tractor , looking about one of the straightest panel wise I've ever seen , although my only experience of driving one is a works defender 110 ..... and the driving position at slightly under 6 ft leaves a lot to be desired .... legs akimbo squatted under /aside the wheel .... and the drivers window down no matter what's the weather as it the only place for my elbow lol
How long did he say before it was ready
Regards
Malc
That looks very nice, I do prefer the smaller pick ups but if it was mine I would need the double cab for kids....
Kayos it is a double cab will be very nice when finished
....I live near Simmonites and they have some nice kit parked outside, way way out of my budget
Completely agree. Everyone moaned about my dads range rovers and discoverys over the years. I would always argue, their fuel consumption is no more than other cars which can be much smaller. Is that really such an issue?
I've never really got the hate for land rovers used as daily road cars...
When I had my discovery, I did get a few people ask why I 'needed' such a big 4x4.
Oddly, my 306 estate isn't considered 'big', but that must be because it's a whole 7 inches shorter than the disco (with a 2" longer wheelbase...)
It's even more comical when you discover the 306 is 29" longer than my s3.
Then the fact it's 4 wheel drive appears to be an issue - I don't see the owners of fiat panda 4x4s (or audi quattros) getting lambasted in the same way.
"Oh, but it must use so much fuel" - yeah, ok, ~30mpg in the disco vs ~36mpg in the 306. Woo, planet killer.
How many 'sports' cars ever see a racetrack?
Pfft, it's up to the owner what car they have and how they use it.
Simmonites have always been expensive.

They used to have another reputation as well.
