Ignore me. A quick Google search does say that the td5 has a single nut done up to a killer torque.

Just checked the RR classic factory manual and it's 1.16 - 1.46 kg I think Defender axle would be the same?.

Just wanted to let you all know how painfully expensive some stupid little parts are, make sure your seated! Genuine number 11 bolts, £8.60 EACH!!!! What on earth are they smoking!, The fuel pipe clips, lots of them, £7 each!!!Not even remotly amusing, Just spent £57 buying a load of nuts and bolts for everything for most of the running gear :'( I'll be crying myself to sleep tonight lol.

Rebuild an old land cruiser, then your eyes would water at the prices toyota charge for spares. Although if it was a land cruiser it would still be going strong

find your local nut and bolt place take samples with you will be loads cheaper

I use grahams machinery to buy stuff like that, they will supply the same grade and a lot cheaper than the stealership and on the shelf.
