Like all grease though they "attract" the dirt in that it sticks to the grease.
Some of the plugs on the bike look black and "manky" on the outside but the electrical connections inside are corrosion free.

The bonnet will look proper snarly when it's fitted
Could you not modify the front panel? Cut a couple of holes in it and fit some mesh or similar? Saves you having to get another and it will make it unique.
It only cost £10 just want it to look as close to standard new shape as it can to be honest.
Yup exactly, not keen on the cut out grill look. Never looks right in my eyes. Still not 100% how the bonnet will look, if I'm not happy I'll sell it on and get the genuine puma one to be happyWell at least a tenner isn't major money. I get what you mean about using a standard one though. My 109 is far from standard but some bits have to be original so it looks 'right'
Probably being told how to act to fit in to societyThat's a great job you're doing there.
Where were all the lasses like you when I was a young chap?
Ummm well not sure. The part number that's on the shaft is the right one apparently but then measuring them my friends checked and said the one I have fitted currently should be on puma (they don't have a Salisbury axle) so it's really strangeWould getting the propshaft shortened be cheaper than a new one?.
i wonder if the prop you removed had been shortened by the previous owner?? just a thought...Probably being told how to act to fit in to society

Not sure . The part number for my new prop is correct to my registration so really not sure now.i wonder if the prop you removed had been shortened by the previous owner?? just a thought...
im sure you will get it sorted, my landy 90 had a salisbury axle fitted by a previous owner which gave me a few headaches when getting bits but us humans always win in the end... keep up the good work, she is looking great..Not sure . Just eatablished the one I think I have is for the really HD suspension which doesn't use a Salisbury. So I need ftc3905. No rush but I'll get thatI thought the nose on a salisbury was longer than a rover type, needing a shorter prop...
Based on series stuff, I'm not very modern
Something like thatHi, don't worry about it Kim because it's all character building.
