If it’s just for the car I’d go for it
you will find the walls on the sockets are really thick compared to higher priced ones
This is coming up in Lidl France, on Thursday.
I've no experience of Parkside tools, ie ratchets, sockets..
Anybody got them? Been there? Good, bad, mediocre.
I'm particularly attracted by the six point sockets and the price..
Thoughts please folks..
Article in question..
I have a few friends that buy that sort of tools, I took them in my hands a few times hence my opinion. However I would still buy a used quality set of sockets or even a Halfords set as they give at least life warranty and cost a little more than the Parkside set...I appreciate it's not going to be facom quality @chris pruteanu , you've had experience with the Parkside range of socketry I guess...
If you can get a Beta set for the same or similar price please let me knowThis doesn't strike me as being particular value for money like some lidl/Aldi tools
It is an unknown quality and for very little if any extra you could have a second teir brand albeit with a slightly more confined selection from:
Toptul
Beta
Halfords professional
Bahco
Britool
Carolus
Teng
Draper

Beta is really nice stuff, on par with the usual top end brands. I’d love a set of their sliding t bar Allen keysSorry it's not beta it's there budget brand beta easy most the brands I listed are the budget range of a big brand and it won't be as complete but you will get a 3/8 set which is more than enough for roadside repairs
I looked at loads of pre made kits and ended up with a keter technicians box full of little kits of alsorts as it was the best answer I could come up with
