Wow!! That stationary engine in the background brings back memories - I made an identical one at school (CSE Metalwork) when I was 15/16 years old - it was made from plans supplied from school. I still have it in the workshop - if any interest for what ever reason I will photograph and post.

My late Father added an electric motor to it, (as you can see), - he used to have it turning whilst sitting on the shelf by the side of him like a mobile ornament.

That was made from kits at school in the 1970'sHere is mine.
I can’t take credit for making it
it’s one I bought complete, really liked the look of it. I haven’t run it on steam but it runs very well on compressed air.I’ll get you a better picture of it tomorrow.

Liberated, in parts, restored with made parts and new parts.

Do you no the provenance of it? Where did it come from etc?
No idea of the history, I got it from ebay purely because I liked the look of it.
My intention is to one day make a copy of it but finding the time at the moment is tricky.
Understood - looking at yours I'm now tempted to give mine a deserved cosmetic face lift and bring it into the house and have it on display somewhere.
I'll post a picture when finished.
