Are these done with TIG or a MIG with the stainless wire?

I was thinking about making my own turbo manifold for my 4AGZE Twin Charge engine for uni next year if i can get good enough with much more practice....any tips or basic rules i should follow for the design?

Tig, MIG could be done, I've sold parts to people who have used it, but the results aren't as asthetically pleasing. Seems to do the job ok, and is somewhat easier and quicker in the prep and welding.

When designing these manifolds/exhaust systems how do you work out the required pipe diameter, lengths etc to get the most from the exhaust system?
Im sure there is some maths involved. any pointers would be great.

Its my car, its mainly aimed at drag, as we build lots of "normal" cars I decided to do it a little different.

The badge is straight, its just the camera lense.

Heres an inlet i've just designed, got a run of ~20 to make so will post some pictures in a couple of weeks, they will be made from 6061. Still in the early design stages yet.
