You may laugh but have you thought of using a metronome?
No, but I can see how it could help

Come on now. We need to start seeing some pics Bb of the results.
I do this all the time tho I did not know it was called Mig like Tig. Brilliant technique for thin sheet. The trick is getting your next pulse on before the previous one has cooled also a but more power required than straight welding the sheet one maybe even two stops. I do this so often it has become second nature.
Trigger I never use the pulse function on the mig I tried it when I got the machine new 25 years ago never tried it again Apart from that I have not had Mig fired up in ages And I don/t have any photos handy. But I am certain I can find plenty to photograph (Monday) on a spaceframe chassis I have. Tho its a bit surface rusty now.Gt6s. To what pulse are you referring?Machine or trigger? One of the foremost users of this method. ZT Fab. States no pulse from either machine or trigger and lower settings than normal. Have you any photographs to show your results please.
Why would you use that technique on heavier material? It is not a series of tacks you hit the trigger before the previous pulse has cooled. Have also used on heavier material many times.
Because it's very tidy. Flush !Why would you use that technique on heavier material?
Only to the inexperienced and the misinformed, in a proper fabshop you would be cutting it out and rewelding it properly.Because it's very tidy. Flush !
Couple of taps with a 20oz should do the trick. Fusion would probably be non existent.Only to the inexperienced and the misinformed, in a proper fabshop you would be cutting it out and rewelding it properly.
