Punching through with u drill them 2mm offset to finish bore
I only needed one but decided on taking a gamble on making ten blanks because I don’t like the idea of one top wheel owing a fortune and if I sell another nine I’ll break even

Unfortunately lettering destroyed though the foundryman said it was exasperated by one of the donuts leaving it in the blaster all day

It’s not sad, it’s very good for a small high carbon steel castings. If it machines well I’m happy!
Naturally I’m a bit disgruntled about letters and boss said he’d make moulders be careful with letters as blacking on sand with steel castings has to be thick because of the heat and small details can be filled

Screw cut the first handle tonight after work
Had to order a 20mm screw cutting bar from Cutwell as I’ve never screw cut such a small diameter with carbide before
