I was just speaking to someone it ruined, left partially paralysed and weak down one sideYou be careful you don't get Weils disease, it can become serious if not diagnosed.

Who doesn't love a nicely organised toolbox?Top wheels
Made rookie error by only holding mandrel in chuck 80mm or so which on a worn chuck is recipe for failure but I didn’t want to waste valuable material
It moved .25 mm on last three which I didn’t notice with the material being out of round hot rolled
Luckily I noticed on chamfer operation.
Re skimmed as I don’t want too much grinding
Top wheel is 110mm diameter

ThanksThose wheels look great, Clive.
What is the small hole in the face for, pse? One of the earlier machining operations?

Is that the one you catch if rats are running around ******* all over the top of cases of beer in warehouses? It can certainly be very serious/life threatening but it's nowhere near as common as people would have you believe. When I was fishing regularly I read stuff all the time that implied you were almost guaranteed to get it.
There are only around 50 reported cases a year in the UK, it's mostly talked about in relation to rats but there is a variant that is common in cattle.
How about shipping to the east coast ?I don’t think I’ll be making the bigger ones anymore
My main market is the USA and I have someone in San Diego who sorts internal delivery.
Due to Ukraine war profiteering shipping has gone from £600 to £1700 in three months. Add in USA port handling of £400 and California import tax of £200 it’s all unviable
ThanksHow about shipping to the east coast ?

My thinking is this:Thanks
Luckily things have gone back to normal
East coast is cheaper but the train ride kills it. I’ve gone that routeMy thinking is this:
1. your sending them to Kalifornia, allot of container ships hit the west coast full with chinese supplies.
2. So the ports are loaded up with work, and charge more.
3. Your stuff needs to go westerly, allot of containers travelling by train go east, and return empty west.
4. the ports on the east coast have less work, prices might be lower.
