Batch work is draining. On the plus it’s good steel, hardens if the drill runs for a second so I’ve ordered a u drill to punch through on max revs
Going to centre turn shaft for wheel spigot and registers for tolerance rings to get good accuracy

Three is plenty considering all the masters I know use one or two for everything and a scrap one for welds!

Amount of tool changes/ops in a mini wheel
One reaming operation could be omitted if I had a 26mm core but overwise I think holes that be seen with a two flute finish is vulgar

A lot of work goes into these things thats for sure, i never imagined the foundry has the best part of the job imho.

Other fixed head apply as well
