Think mine is a K3? Followed Emeralds instructions to the letter, the engine fired but didn’t start on first cranking so the TBs got a squirt of brake cleaner that got it running enough to start mapping enough to get a few miles on the engine before it went on their rolling road . Tweaked the cold starting enrichment a bit at a time to get good starting

Yeah, I think my emerald was one of the very first ones, Still in development really, it must have been around 1995-98ish

I love it, shame it doesn’t have an original steering wheel, though for practicality the Moto-Lita is fine.

Sadly it didn't have a steering wheel and the cost of sourcing and restoring one was a bit much

The wire hose clips have hexagonal heads

So this is the last update on the Cooper S as I left the mini specialist 3 weeks ago but today they have had it out and putting on some test miles. It still needs a bonnet badge but reports are that it's all good.

We all had those drop brackets back in the day, usually with special seats set further back. Mine were Lotus Elite seats. £5 each when they were clearing a shed out at Lotus.....
My memory might be faulty, but I don't remember grey as a very common colour for S's?

I am now restoring classic vw's, just about to start a major resto on a t2 camper
