Its are to see the yellow handle in such good condition, the plastic usually degrades and they go brown and change shape
I've got one in an Elora speed brace in a whitworth/AF set, no clue why you don't see them much any more, I use mine all the time. The speed brace is an excellent thing, and you don’t get them in standard tool kits anymore.
Winchboy has a few Britool screw drivers, they are very rare, he mainly uses Wera and Snap On Driver though. I must dig out my Gordon tool set, been collecting stuff for it for a few years I suspect its near completeThis is true. They made screwdrivers but I’ve never seen them, presumably they deteriorated. I use Wera drivers anyway.
The only time I ever use a speed brace is running down cylinder head bolts. I always think that I can feel if a thread is tight with one.The speed brace is an excellent thing, and you don’t get them in standard tool kits anymore.
I must say that while I did buy the kit partly because it had a speed brace and I hadn't got one, I can't actually remember the last time I actually used it. Just not using it isn't a reason to not have something, though. The only time I ever use a speed brace is running down cylinder head bolts. Use mine for wheel nuts, I don’t have an uggadugga
I'm very tempted to pick one of these up for when the shows open up again... and to make a mess of my garden with...Agree, I have a 3/8 Koken Z Drive set for my Japanese car, the Z series sockets are smaller for ease of access - really nice socket set and I’d recommend it.
The 1/2 stuff gets a good amount of use on the tractor (sometimes the 3/4 stuff too!). Can’t beat the power of a 1/2 breaker bar especially on bolts that people have rounded with a bihex socket. Hammer a six point on and crack off with the bar.

1/4 on motorbikes and small stuff under the bonnet, 3/8 for general use but always 1/2 on suspension work.I'm generally 3/8" kit person, rarely (never) touch 1 /4" , 1/2" is for bigger stuff, which really needs to be tight.
3/4" kit is exclusively my 7 .5 ton truck, or tractor or manitou wheel nuts and stuff.

I use 3/4 on the big van, it's basically a 5 tonner underneath anyway. I don't see how you can manage without a complete set of each tbh.
