First half of the clutch mechanism and fittings cleaned but not finished. One set back is one of the clutch band adjusters is seized and previously been cross threaded. Thankfully the other one is good. I will cut the top of the seized one and remove the ratchet.spring ect. Really small parts these.

This shaft is seriously locked on to to clutch housing. I need it off to get to the bearing. I think a press job and possible heat.

Can you not make some "flatted round" ended legs for a puller to get in between the inner and outer of the bearing and just pull it out, maybe with some heat?

I forgotten about the amount of hours. I do however have a day off now and then. Normally on a day off I am working on another project. Currently doing the motor plate for my empire lathe.

Had to improvise method of blind bearing removal as my blind bearing kit has gone walk about and I am seriously pssd about it. Anyway.... modified the jaws on an old puller. Sorted.

What are the dimensions of the bearing? It's difficult to get a scale from the photo.

70mm outside D. 32mm inside D. That's as close as I can get so probably imperial. My plan is to upgrade to a sealed type. I know some bearings are designed to have oil pass through them but have studied the layout and csnt see it causing any issues

My local bearings supply is currently shut. I have used them for years and always had a good relationship with them.

Could you double check that please. I just put in LJ1-3/4 and it is giving 3 3/4" OD with RLS14 as an alternative name.

I put in RLS10 as written on his photo and it seems to match better (LJ1-1/4).
