nasty acidents!!

OUCH! I did something similarly daft years ago when I smoked. Me and my mate playing golf, put my fag down to play a shot, played it, picked my fag back up and put it in my mouth...........wrong end! *** great big blister on both my lips for the next week or so . I've done the old 'comedy' stand on a brush head and get a handle in the face as well. That's when you look around before reacting just in case someone saw it happen . Oh and I've done it with a rake as well

or when you have had the fag in your mouth for too long and it becomes a bit glued to your lips, attempt to pull it from your mouth as you have done so many times before, the cigarette slips through your fingers and you succeed only in pulling the cherry off the end, which is then burning and stuck between your two fingers, ouchie

Hehe, never done that one but I did once rip some skin off my lip pulling a fag out that I'd had in my mouth for a while Btw, I gave up smoking many moons ago, not cos of my health, more cos I kept injuring myself with them

Always opening cupboard then turning round and walking into them..

Microwaving a cup of coffee at my mates pub kitchen for 40 seconds and taking a gob full of scalding coffee hot enough to wither a plastic spoon...

Still got the blisters in my mouth after a fortnight..........

Tidying up the garage this afternoon and my mobile rang. The radio was on so I leant across to turn it down and knocked my bowsaw off the wall and the saw blade hit me on the shnozzer. Result, talking to my mate with blood dripping off my nose and a (luckily not too deep) cut across my hooter.

We have a small bandsaw at work, its a real job to change the blade, the body is the wrong way really...one of the old guys changed it oneday, and the top half of the blade jumped off the wheels, and consiquently he ended up wih a row of little cuts about 1/4" apart where each tooth hit his head

I was making some clamps last week and was knelt down welding them. I wasn't wearing overalls and didn't think about the split in the knee of my jeans so ended up with a nasty UV burn just above my left knee

When i was an apprentice Sheet Metal Worker we were given a demonstration by an older apprentice showing how to shape a piece of sheet steel using a sand filled leather bag and a wooden mallet.Being the eldest apprentice and showing off a bit he started belting the living daylights out of this bit o tin and was turning to talk to us at the same time,at one point he must of lost his rhythm a bit and as he came up with the mallet whacked himself on the forehead he knocked himself out and fell on the floor ! so we all fell on the floor laughing bit of a bump on his head but he was ok.

I used to be in the timber fencing trade and we used to make overlap fencing panels using air nailers,one day the rep who we used to buy our nails from was telling us about how dangerous these guns were and told us about a company who made timber pallets to any size and some of the nail guns they used fired 6" ring shank nails ( they look and hold like a screw ) he said the guns were so heavy they had to use one of them counterbalance reel thingys that hang from the ceiling to take the weight of the gun and they sorta bounce back up slowly,anyway a guy was making a pallet using the 6" nails and bouncing this gun up and down working his way around the pallet, he then lifted his leg and rested his foot on one of the table supports, as he brought the gun down it just caught the edge of the pallet and dropped onto his knee ! because his leg was up on the support the 6" nail went through his knee cap and fired into the center of his femur ( shin bone ) right into the marrow !!! ugh !!! they took him to Hospital with his leg still bent cuz he couldn't straighten it ! enjoy your supper.

Fell asleep,fell off the chair and hot his head on the corner of the bench (20mil steel plate top) pos fractured scull and LOTS of blood..........
