Rough idea is to make up some copper U's out of the 9x1mm copper strip I have (got shed loads so determined to find a use). They'll drop into U shaped slots in the print. They'll sit 2mm in so 7mm of copper will be sticking up. I think that'll be enough to engage with the Ferrex battery.
Then, print some plastic "retaining" U's in red and black or brown and blue to show polarity and look pretty. Maybe glue these in with a drop of something.
