There is a caveat on that though, if you opt out later, data that is already out there is not retrieved, only new data is not sent So there is a deadline of sorts, you can opt out anytime but if your 60 years old then most of your data will still be out there and the only bit you will stop is the bit about the viagra prescription and hurting yourself trying to climb onto the wardrobe, never mind jumping off of it.

You can opt out of sharing your data If you do not want your GP to share your identifiable patient data for purposes except for your own care, you can opt-out by registering a Type 1 Opt-out.
This prevents your data being shared with NHS Digital if you register your opt-out before 23 June 2021. You can still register your opt-out at any time after this date and it will prevent any more data being shared with NHS Digital.

...but if you do so after uploads have started it won’t have stopped NHS Digital extracting your lifelong GP history,

which it will never delete.

You can also register a National Data Opt-out, which will prevent NHS Digital from sharing your identifiable patient data for planning and research purposes. Your individual care will not be affected if you opt-out using either option.

The National Data Opt-out will not stop NHS Digital extracting your lifelong GP history from1 July 2021, and its own data release registers show it only respects this opt-out about 20% of the time.

No Alexa and I've told bloody Samsung's Bixby to go and do one.

I turn off all those extra Microsoft services and I use a DNS proxy called pihole that removes loads of adverts and advert tracking.

I don't give out our landline number and its ex-directory. And we subscribe to the phone and mail preference lists.

We get very few nuisance/cold calls.

And then I go and tell you lot exactly what I'm up to - doh!

we dont get them at all havent had any in years and proved a point since i rip them a new one often

if im aware of new film releases and tech to download for free I come from a different area of the system so use other software

youtube have my email address or better known as my old deleted account however as they wanted it to be verified it kinda got an up yours and i went elsewhere to upload my vids

as goes for youtube well it dosnt like me as i remove and last deleted my searches so it tends not to give me the searches i want anyway

has been happening anyway where youtube thinks i want it but removes many from the view which i dont want anyway
