Our GP sent my lad for a heart scan at hospital.
I took him and was in the room when they did the scan & all looked ok.
I even took a few videos on my phone, so have evidence...
A few weeks later my lad asked the GP for the official results.
GP said hospital had written to say he had not turned up for the appointment.
Looks like someone else's NHS record has my lads "good" scan results......???

Millions of records/data entries, some mixed up by NHS (by mistake, clearly).
GPs and NHS can barely cope with organising to See people, never mind treating them, then managing the volume of data on each person and what pills they're on and their history.

So, depersonalisation will probably be done by thousands of admin staff across the country, all on minimum wage...
Can't possibly go wrong...?

and now i will tell you something once your dpa data leaves uk shores the uk no longer has dpa protection upon it infact that country that has it on its shores does
so if your data is shared in that country you have to use there system not ours to claim against that company

its also known as cross border litigation and recovery the uk has no juristiction

just as a note here and thinking out of the box

you if not most own houses or would like to own houses if this data affects insurances then it can affect your house insurance as well

if your health issues aint good enough then you wont get that mortgage

i refused care data the last time so will also fill this one out as well

my info shared with the doctor is only shared with him and i expect ther gp to keep that info well hidden

ask your mrs if she would like her medical info to be fully accessed even her secrets that she has

theres some info that should remain well hidden

It probably doesn’t affect you but some things you share with the GP aren’t private. They are duty bound to act.

I forget the phrase but it’s basically to protect the public or another person. Also for safeguarding issues. They have to do a referral. They also speak up, sometimes a bit too keenly, when you have a shotgun certificate and tell them you’re feeling ‘down’

As I say, probably nowt to do with your situation but it’s not as private as you’d think under certain circumstances

Funily enough, when I went in for my 5 yearly internal exam, they said I missed 2014. I showed them the results on my phone!

Scammers just stepped up a gear

Hi All, received an genuine looking email yesterday telling me my TV needed relicensing on 16th July. Knew this to be a scam as my TV doesn't need relicensing till later in the year & part of the the blurb was in French (Que!!). Not unusual in its self get loads of such garbage...

Heads up, Indian BT internet scammers are on the 'phones today. Had two so far from 0141 numbers. Unfortunately they dropped the call after I pressed "1" to give them a torrent of abuse. :D

Scam phone calls.........

We've all been plagued by scam calls, I'm sure :mad: and hopefully recognise them for what they are. Over the last few weeks I've had a lot, mostly at meal times for some reason. I let incoming calls go to answerphone - it's usually a case of they hang up or occasionally a 'sales' message...
