This is my contribution to the thread. Not necessarily that special to many, but becoming quite rare. I think there are only something like 150 2 door saloon Vauxhall Magnums still registered when I last looked. A few of you have posted vehicles with the slant 4 engine (although this one is only the 1800).
Lots of sentimental value here though - dad bought her new in 1974. We ran her until 1990 and then she was taken off of the road and this was me moving her last year from where she had been parked up in 1990 to my workshop. I haven't started work yet - new wings needed (I have them), the sills at the rear need patching and a bit of work on the rear arches (luckily there is a company still pressing the arch pattern). The engine has only done about 70,000 miles and starts and runs. Needs a fettle, but I think it is the carb as its basically a mahooosive flat spot when you want to accelerate and I have a rebuild kit for that. My child seat is still strapped into the rear!
