Could be an advantage to drive on surfaces like that with no differential!
In order, Absolutely! Why?! And that's a beast, I love it!Does this count?
My friend just bought this

Why did they buy it?In order, Absolutely! Why?! And that's a beast, I love it!
How narrow is narrow ?
Is your normal gage meter gage ?
Our normal gauge is the same as yours - after all we did invent the railways. Mind you Brunel introduced 7ft 1/4" gauge - shame it didn't win over - tank sizes in WW2 were limited due to rail loading gauge. How narrow is narrow ?

Based on the rails on the floor, it looks like meter gage. What gauge is it ?
I don't know. I know 0 about trains. I just went to see their new purchase once it had been delivered. What gauge is it ?

I believe it might be getting 're gauged though, or whatever it's called when you change the track width.
Yup, wheels ride between the gear box, motor support bearings, and the outer journal boxes.I bet it's a bit more involved than throwing a set of wheel spacers on
It is, but it won't be the first one she has had done.I bet it's a bit more involved than throwing a set of wheel spacers on
No idea!!What's the plans for it? Does your friend have a narrow gauge railway in his garden?
Maximum points for crazy purchases
Axle tension wind up! Snapping half shafts, all the way up the hill.Could be an advantage to drive on surfaces like that with no differential!
Considering where it came from I'm going to guess that it will be Cape Gauge 3'6" .I don't know. I know 0 about trains. I just went to see their new purchase once it had been delivered.

No snowplow, probably vacuum brakes, end of the traction motor looks
like a transit car motor, fuel tank is tiny as well.
what is the engine ? a cummins 855 or similar ?
