just simply down load it from their web site its very small, you also have the option of saving various configurations and just load them as you require which is what I do depending if I use my 2000 or 6000 watt subs but be aware that these amps are 4 ohm stable / matched only, no lower and obviously wont be full power with a higher resistance loadDoes the software come with the amp or do you have to buy it as an extra ?
Just check up that they are able to be bridged into a single channel I'm not sure that you can I certainly can't do it with my 6000'sYeah thats fine, im planning to use a single sub and the amp can bridge mono to give 1000w RMS at 4 Ohms, this is about three times more than i need. I like this bit of kit as it provides a very neat, simple and cost effective solution to what im trying to do, no power supplyes, no extra kit, no matching this to that etc etc.
Nice one Snooper
Oh buy the way what do you do with all this kit ?
Cool, I've got a mate in London that does that but mainly for DJ stuff, he uses Crown amps and behringer cross overs and processors, I've had a shot with all his gear, it's lovely but just too big for what I needJust check up that they are able to be bridged into a single channel I'm not sure that you can I certainly can't do it with my 6000's
Provide pa / sound for bands amongst other stuff
crown are very good amps but heavy like most, I removed peavey's to get rid of some weight at around 20kg per ampCool, I've got a mate in London that does that but mainly for DJ stuff, he uses Crown amps and behringer cross overs and processors, I've had a shot with all his gear, it's lovely but just too big for what I need
I'm getting to like the iNuke stuff, it looks really cool and is a one stop solution for everything, plus it works out much much cheaper than buying separate power supply's, processors, cables etc etc etc
One more look. At these bad boys then money will be spent, Thanks Snooperit would appears from the instructions that you can bridge the 1000 and 3000 amps but not the 6
if you want more info the manual is available to downloadOne more look. At these bad boys then money will be spent, Thanks Snooper
Cheers dude, the price is just amazing considering what these can do, I was only planning a little car amp to run a small sub in the house. Plans have somewhat changed now as I can buy the 3000 for les than the car amp and no faffing around with power supplies, crossovers etc. gonna get two 15" subs and hook it up in my barn which has a pool table, dart board and barif you want more info the manual is available to download
using the limiter you can set it to lower the output wattage to suit your speakers so you don't fry themCheers dude, the price is just amazing considering what these can do, I was only planning a little car amp to run a small sub in the house. Agreed, I got some cheapo Tibo's from richer sounds, they ain't gonna win any awards but they sound ok for 59 quid. I'm gonna have root around in the shed as I've got about five or six pairs of assorted drivers. Hopefully I can knock up some miss and tops as I've got several pairs of empty speaker cabinets.if you get the bug and decide to buy new speakers don't get any with piezo horns they sound terrible as do any of the cheaper makes get some with compression drivers
Cool, I'm ok at desinging and tuning sub cabinets, done it the old school way using T&S parameters, a calculator and the loudspeaker cook book by Vance Dickson, these days there are spreadsheets that do it all for you. Old cabs were only for mids n tops.passive crossover I cant say as I don't use any I use an active crossover as for the drivers you have they wont be tuned unless they are in the original cabs, cabs are now designed using thiele and small parameters and get the best out of the driver and whether it should be ported of not, what diameter and length the port should be, obviously all my cabs are PA cabs (7 pairs), as for home stereo I don't have a great top of the range thing as I rarely listen to it
there are programs like win isd and the only perfect way to do it is with the thiele & small parameters, if you do a quick search on something like eminence beta 15 you will get all the parameters so you get an idea of what is used nowCool, I'm ok at desinging and tuning sub cabinets, done it the old school way using T&S parameters, a calculator and the loudspeaker cook book by Vance Dickson, these days there are spreadsheets that do it all for you. I've looked very hard and was set on a Behringer I nuke, but I've now come across this thing called a mini dsp which although not an amp more suits my needs for what I'm planning to do, I'm currently looking into this before I commit to spending any moneydid you get an amp?
