I will probably end up with my missesYou just turn the bottle around.
Is that only for Lucas wiring or is it compatible with Bosch, Siemens etc ?If it does you just buy a jar of lucas electrical smoke and put it back in with a syringe.

Nah - you need a mirror...You just turn the bottle around.
Slightly disappointed that they used black heatshrink on the +ve battery cable
It's just good practise to put the heatshrink on first, with some lugs it is bloody hard/impossible to get it on afterwards especially with fatter cables or lugs with a larger mounting hole, 25mm cable is easy, 95mm cable is harder to work with.I'd have used red too, it also amused me that they said you have to slide the heatshrink on first but the heatshrink would have easily slid over the terminal.
cheap as chips on ebayI kinda want a hydraulic crimper now. Don't need one, but I am sure I would find a use!

Keep your money, most are tosh and disposable unless you buy an adult version.

I think it's due to the variances in the lugs, we've a quality one at work and sometimes we have to go down a size to get a good crimp. There is a lot of different lugs out there and some are thinner wall than others and that obviously has a huge impact on whether or not this type of crimper does a good job or not.The only things that I've found is even though all the lugs and cables have markings sometimes you need to go a size smaller on former or pack them out. If going a size smaller then you need to think how you orientate the lug as it will gain a couple of "ears" which I think look quite cool if they are in the same plane as the lug eye
