I have been advised to start a patreon side to my youtube.
At the minute it is all just good fun.
It pays enough to run my shop but i still work full time.
Time is my big problem , rather the way my time is used.
To be able to do more video content , I would need to stop working full time.
Then it would not be a hobby any more.
I am 60 next year that may well be a big changing point
I have loads of projects just waiting for Me to find the time to do them justice

, but it might merit keeping an eye on in case it triggered another tax band or something. Mind you, the expenses of producing SSSs would obviously go up accordingly...

It's interesting but I do cringe when I think of the hundreds of thousands of people who will watch that video and think that it's full of good machining practices when they are making some very novice mistakes with the tool overhang, flat-topped grinds and even some tools being used backwards.
Also at 1:30 he said that they fitted new metric screws and dials, but at 33mins they cut a 1.5mm pitch thread using the changewheel chart for an imperial leadscrew so they could not have change the main leadscrew. Nothing wrong with that except they used the half-nuts on the first and the second pass which you absolutely cannot do unless you use a clever trick which involves stopping the motor immediately and engaging the same thread dial mark to reverse the carriage. You hear him mumble something when they do the second pass, that was because he chewed the first pass of his thread up with the second one. They could recover it at that stage but only if they figured their mistake out right away, otherwise I bet that part had to be re-made.

The apparent relative ease of the Ecotex on it's own box. There are people on bike carbs and others just using the injection and replacing the mini centre speedo with space for a custom plenum.
The migweb site seems to have become almost unreadable due to adds since I last looked a few years ago.
