I expect so, if they are that good I expect they are busy, plus I get the impression they don't rush anything. Look at the attention to detail making jigs for one off jobs etc.

Thinking/planning the work will take a considerable amount of time, never mind actually doing it, and especially to their standard. How long will it have taken just to set up (add to) the lathe just to change the rim widths?
There will have been a lot of days gone where the car won't have even been touched with anything other than a tape measure.
Although this project won't be that expensive it will still require some funds, and more importantly running the workshop and eating (and supplying tea) will mean that some money will have to be coming from somewhere. Unless it's all been saved up for this in advance it has to be running alongside paying work.
