On a serious note, the uvex pheos glasses we use at work with the anti mist coating have been superb during the pandemic when we have had to wear masks as well as safety glasses.recomend me a pair then pretty please, every pair i have steam up when i start warming up whilst working. And I must have at least 24 different sets be it glasses or goggles

I am open to suggestions Parm best place and best price for something that will work.i know they exists as I’ve been dealing with PPE supplied to the NHS for the last 18 months, I’ve set up end user trials where they have to demonstrate that that they do not mist up when in use, before they buy them
where are you buying them from ?
Bits flying off a grinding disc,or causing rebounds. For bits of rust from under a car?
I’m not going to make a suggestionI am open to suggestions Parm best place and best price for something that will work.
The Dewalt specs are actually much more curved (wrap-around) than may appear to be the case in pictures, and having bought a few different specs over recent months, they are the ones I chose to buy "in bulk", but it's very a much a personal thing. For what it's worth, they score 4.5 out of 5 in the Screwfix feedback. They look a bit Joe 90
ok thanks parmI’m not going to make a suggestion
Find something you like and I will look at it
Because they are idiots ?I really don’t get peoples take on PPE. They will scrimp n save to buy the best gadget, gizmo, car or tool. Then come up with crazy ideas for kit that may protect thier health or save thier life’s
why do folk do this?
Could there be a large element related to age? A lot of young people have about as much interest in H&S as they do in pension schemes. And similarly, at some point, people wish they had taken more interest earlier on?I really don’t get peoples take on PPE. They will scrimp n save to buy the best gadget, gizmo, car or tool. I watched a programme on TV the other night about life in the London docks in the early sixties. No gloves, no boots, no hats... nothing. And they went down the pub at lunch time and 2 or 3 pints was normal.
The way to keep glasses from fogging up is to rub your saliva on them, then gently rinse off with water. Its how we keep our masks clear when snorkelling or scuba diving. There is also a commercial form of spit (saliva) that can be purchased, but its no better than what's natural.................................... Ideally glasses which don't steam up. ..........
Thanks
yep i have always done the same when snorkling or scuba divingThe way to keep glasses from fogging up is to rub your saliva on them, then gently rinse off with water. I used to use unexpected marks but I now need something that will also prevent chips hitting my face. So I am looking for recommendations for a mask I can wear whilst using the lathe the mill and pedestal drill.Yeah, I can't see why you would choose them over normal goggles, its not like a normal set are overly intrusive (The Uvex ones we use are pretty low profile), you'll get better peripheral vision and your eyes will probably be able to "breathe" a bit rather than watertight swimming goggles.
