I’m not surprised the seats came up well, Volvo seem to use some tough material. The 240GLT I had, had 260,000 on the clock when I sold it, the seats looked like new. I had a standard 240 that was dog rough inside, I reckon it must have had starship mileage on it, I understand it belonged to a dog meat company at one time, I think the dog lived in it!

142 update. Overhauled the suspension and steering; springs, Bilstein shocks, PU bushes, ball joints, idler arm bush and tie rods. Wheel alignment is just done to standard at the moment and need to get it how I want at a later date.

Next up is K&N filter, stub stack for the carb intake, 2" exhaust, 25mm ARB, high torque starter. After that I have a new cam, timing gears, lightened flywheel and new clutch to fit but that is a engine out job so will be sometime later.

A few runs today before mods for comparison.

For me no as they are just bolt on and not changed anything.
