Did you obtain a decent finish? Looked a bit coarse in the photos. So many variables apply here though.
The Arboga here was an E100 model, older model that you change gears on by hand. My friend has a more modern G2508 he renovated.
The tool doesn't look great to be honest and I would be surprised if you could get a decent finish with it.I didn't think I got that good a result, but I don't know in what condition the cutting steel was, was also the first time ever I turned anything on a metal lathe.
