Is the video in here the obe you have but missing on his youtube?i prefer a door being on the rocket stove stops it spitting out hot embers
you should have noticed a difference between door open and door closed with your build and between the flames they look exactly right all thats left is try a kettle or a frying pan cook on it
you could if you want is put a circle around the top just to stop wind effecting the flame at top of it 1" below your riser tube
the instructions comes from one of his videos that i have on my system there not there anymore that build was his for sale builds quick and easy well tested though

Again I know an old post, but I'm very keen to build one of those multi use rocket stoves, all in one, burner, boiler and griddle plate
Yeah, I've taken a look at yours too Gaz, was thinking of building a Thursday lunchtime cookout for my Men in Sheds project.
