Would you be looking at a remote for the control panelI try to build things to last, which means that they end up being somewhat over engineered at times, which is probably the case here, but it'll do anything I ever need.
There's still a fair amount to do, mostly making the control box casing and fitting the control system. The only thing I need now is the countersunk Allen Screws to hold the table surface to the main shaft.
Hopefully my son will be able to get these in Essex, as I can't find a supplier that stocks 1/2" unf csk screws up here....
That’s not unfortunate that’s great.Unfortunately Richard, I have the 240vac>24vdc power inverter, a 24vdc motor speed controller and an on/off foot pedal, so the control system is really sorted as such.

eBay has plenty.
I've looked on fleabay loads of metric and small imperial ones, but you try finding ......1/2" UNF CSK Allen Screws x 1"+ long.
