Amazed it has not been lifted off already and put into a van..aught to be lifted out and put on display in greenock somewheres

The Vanden Plas Princess version had a Rolls Royce engine. That's not one though, they had a different grille.
GPO had some as cabling lorries in the mid 70’s way after production ceased. From what I recall they were left over from an overseas contract & had a humongous petrol engine in. This was to get them under the HGV weight limit I was told. I drove one on odd occasions, it went like a rocket, pass anything bar a petrol station. In those days GPO ended up with a variety of odd ball kit, left overs, remember the Ford A series truck, there was a petrol one of those as well.I once had a lad working for me,lived in the back of his TJ,an ex PO telephones one,J reg iirc,he had a one legged dog that would catch him rabbits that they would share.
