Scam phone calls.........

I had a new one (to me) today.

Picked the phone up to get a recorded warning from BT that my internet would be shut down for some reason within the next 24 hours, to prevent it I had to press 1 on my handset.

Obviously a scam, even more so because I am not with BT.

So it would either instigate a sky high costing call back or the scammers are getting too lazy to go through the scam spiel.

@cumbriasteve Aye, latest seem to be a well-spoken woman alerting you there's "a very serious law suite against you" or similar to what you got, you MUST press button on your phone etc.......

Yeah wife had that one, they even threatened her with jail...the swines never kept their promise though.

I had that one yesterday, cut off within the hour it said, it's still working now & will continue to do so.
