If you haven't already fixed the pipe . bring it inside another 150 mm or so ..... done so that in the future if you have to change the stop valve ....you can if needs be cut the old pipe . I've lost count of the number of leaking at the bottom joint incoming water I've had to deal with . My stupid brother being the first some 40 years ago . He got too technical with a pair of big spanners & wrecked the incoming pipes end one Sunday afternoon trying to cure the" little drops of water " ( aka condensation ) that made under the cabinets smell .
Too late.
It's all good. Did have a drip on the bottom connection when I first did it but Jet Blue Plus sorted it. Magic on compression fitting.
Tbh I did think about sticking a tee in here so I can carry a supply (left) up the garden:
